Liz’s HydroBlade Adventure: A Fusion of Efoiling and Biking Thrills

Liz Vasquez, a lifelong watersports enthusiast with a passion for wakesurfing, efoiling, waterskiing, and eboarding, recently had the opportunity to try the HydroBlade for the first time. Her excitement was palpable as she prepared to embark on this new adventure.

When asked about her background in watersports, Liz shared, “I do all kinds of watersports. I have been doing all of that my whole life, so I’m very excited to try something new.”

Reflecting on her previous eFoiling experience, Liz admitted, “For me, it was a little tricky. I needed like 30 minutes to get comfortable with the board, to feel the balance, to get my balance.” This candidness set the stage for her anticipation of the HydroBlade.

Liz’s understanding of the HydroBlade was clear. “I think it is going to be very similar to eFoil, but I’m not sure, because it’s like a bike at the same time,” she explained, presenting a new challenge even for a seasoned watersports pro.

Post-ride, Liz’s excitement was undeniable. “The experience is amazing. The moment you get to stand up and you get your balance and go, the feeling is amazing,” she enthused. Her single-word summary of the HydroBlade experience? “Adrenaline.”

For those trying the HydroBlade for the first time, Liz offered valuable advice: “The most important thing: follow the instructions, try to pay attention to each step because this is the fundamentals so you can stand up easily and enjoy your ride.”

Looking to the future, Liz envisioned herself cruising on a HydroBlade through a lake or at the beach. “I’d love to have one,” she confessed, adding yet another watersport to her extensive list of passions.
