HydroBlade's software engineer, Caseman James, recently took his first ever ride on an efoil! James' work is essential to the HydroBlade's functionality, so his perspective is valuable to the team.
With no prior efoil experience, James approached the test ride with a mix of excitement and anticipation. "It wouldn't be fun if it wasn't challenging," he remarked, understanding the thrill that comes with conquering a new skill.
While James wouldn't be able to directly test his software during the ride, he expressed confidence in his work. He had already witnessed the HydroBlade running successfully and was eager to see it in action on the water.
When asked about his expectations for the ride's duration, James simply said, "As long as I can." And it seems he wasn't disappointed!
After the experience, James reported that it took some time to find his balance on the HydroBlade, but once he did, things started to click. He thoroughly enjoyed the ride and expressed a desire to get back on the water for more.
Perhaps most importantly, the experience seems to have fueled James' passion for the project. "I really want for us to get to the final version," he said.
The HydroBlade team is excited to see James' continued dedication and looks forward to sharing his future riding successes!
